Web Developer / Frontend Developer

Position Overview

If you excel at crafting fast, modern websites and sales funnels and want to actively shape a domain rather than just handle support tickets, this role is for you. We are expanding and looking for a pivotal Web and Funnel Project Lead. Working with a contemporary Next.js stack, you'll elevate our projects to new heights and take on significant responsibility. Enjoy short decision paths, close collaboration with the founding duo, and the ability to shape this area from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop conversion-focused websites and landing pages using Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, and Tailwind v4.
• Implement and configure Sanity as a headless CMS, enabling clients to manage their content independently.
• Manage deployments through Vercel, covering domains, DNS, and environment setups.
• Integrate tracking tools such as Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and monitor events and conversions accurately.
• Create conversion funnels and multi-step landing page variations.
• Connect forms and automation workflows, for instance via n8n webhooks.
• Perform both visual and technical quality assurance, optimize Core Web Vitals and overall site performance.
• Maintain, enhance, and expand existing client websites.
• In the future, adapt Shopify themes (Liquid) and contribute to shop-related projects.
• Collaborate closely with the founders and participate in on-site client meetings.

Candidate Profile

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Business Informatics, Web or Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification (or a solid relevant training background).
• Preferably 1 to 3 years of professional experience in web development, ideally within an agency or product team.
• A portfolio showcasing live projects and real URLs is mandatory, valued more than certificates.
• Strong skills in React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and Git, with clear understanding of how frontend, backend, and CMS integrate.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms (Sanity preferred) and deployment/hosting (Vercel preferred).
• An eye for detail and design; producing solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
• Data-driven mindset: aiming not just to build but to understand what drives conversions.
• Entrepreneurial spirit: eager to build, take responsibility, think proactively, and go the extra mile—with recognition and reward for it.
• Native-level German language skills and good English proficiency for documentation, tools, and technical terms.
• Important: Comfortable working with modern AI-assisted tools like Claude Code, but with solid technical expertise rather than blindly relying on auto-generated code.

Additional Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with Shopify and Liquid templating.
• Basic SEO knowledge, both technical and content-related.
• Familiarity with n8n or other automation platforms.
• Experience in tracking, Google Tag Manager, and conversion optimization.
