Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers for our Pinkenba branch in Brisbane. The position involves ensuring warehouse and distribution services are efficiently delivered to internal and external clients. This is a full-time role operating Monday through Friday with shifts available from 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with management, suppliers, and customers regarding warehouse operations.
  • Manage weighing, shipping, receiving, delivery tasks, including dispatcher responsibilities.
  • Receive, verify, pick, pack, and dispatch spare parts and materials accurately.
  • Participate in project work related to warehouse functions.
  • Support inventory management and control activities.
  • Prepare documentation required for shipments.
  • Enter detailed data into Sandvik IT systems precisely.
  • Investigate discrepancies in inventory and implement corrective solutions.
  • Conduct cycle counts and full stocktakes regularly.
  • Enforce quality control protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain general upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse environment.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum three years of experience in warehouse or stores roles within heavy mining or equipment manufacturing industries.
  • Possession of a valid forklift license is mandatory.
  • Comfortable adapting to new systems and work processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledgeable and active in applying workplace health and safety (OH&S) standards.
  • Energetic, flexible, and enthusiastic with strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and embrace shift work rosters.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must have legal authorization to live and work in Australia. Successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
