Job Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team responsible for various warehouse operations including materials receiving, labeling, pallet handling, and cold room raw material management. This role involves managing inventory, establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and supporting production through effective inbound and outbound logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse assistants in handling materials such as receiving, labeling, moving pallets, and managing cold room raw materials.
- Manage and monitor inventory control and develop SOPs for warehouse operations.
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound activities to avoid production interruptions.
- Ensure timely and accurate material receipt and issuance from internal and external warehouses including cold storage.
- Prepare reports related to material damages, disposition authorizations, and inventory tracking documents.
- Conduct investigations on inventory discrepancies and violations of GMP and EHS standards.
- Organize routine cycle counts including physical inventory checks and data entry.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in the SAP system.
- Oversee all outbound shipments by land, sea, and air, ensuring timely packing and shipping.
- Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment like forklifts and Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks, including staff training.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including organizing shelves, pallets, and workstations.
- Participate in warehouse equipment and area verification and qualification processes.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and cGMP guidelines in all tasks.
- Support the promotion of Antaes services while assisting clients.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in a GMP-compliant environment, including 3 years in supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
- Proactive team player with ability to also work independently.
- Capability to perform well in a fast-moving and demanding workplace.
- Good interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Valid forklift license; experience operating Reach Truck and VNA is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) preferred.
