About the Role
Safegard Systems, a part of the Swegon Group and a specialist in fire and smoke damper systems, is seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse Operative to join their Production team in Bray, Ireland. This hands-on position is perfect for individuals who take pride in ensuring smooth operational flow. The role involves managing incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining precise stock records, and ensuring the warehouse is kept in an organized, safe, and efficient state. You will collaborate with the broader team to support daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate and timely handling of materials and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound and outbound goods for orders and deliveries.
- Track and record stock movements using internal systems.
- Maintain up-to-date records of stock locations and inventory levels.
- Ensure the warehouse is consistently clean, organized, and safe.
- Inspect incoming deliveries for any discrepancies or damages.
- Process and receive incoming shipments.
- Examine returned items and manage credit processing.
- Aid in conducting stock counts and inventory checks.
- Monitor stock quantities and flag when replenishment is needed.
- Assist in loading outgoing vehicles with drivers.
- Safely relocate stock manually or using equipment like forklifts.
- Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse space utilization and operational processes.
- Perform safety inspections on warehouse equipment.
- Provide general assistance across warehouse and logistics functions.
What We're Looking For

Essential Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse setting.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access).
Desirable Experience
- A valid forklift license.
- A full, clean driving license.
- Possession of a Safe Pass certification.
