The team supports the Ministry’s work by delivering communications, engagement, and learning resources to educators, communities, and staff across the organisation.
What you will do
- Support the Ministry’s logistics operations, including receipting goods, managing warehousing activities, handling order fulfilment, and coordinating distribution.
- Help organise the systems, workflows, and supplier partnerships that make these logistics services work well.

The role calls for sound planning skills, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.
You should also be comfortable building effective working relationships and collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Experience and knowledge
- Hands-on experience in logistics, ideally supporting a large and complex network of suppliers and locations.
- Practical knowledge of established processes for receipting, warehousing, consolidating, and distributing stock.
- Proven ability to coordinate complex projects and deliver results by deadline, with strong organisational capability.
- Working understanding of graphic design and print production processes and lead times.
- Familiarity with New Zealand publishing standards and requirements is an advantage.
- Willingness to follow the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
About the team
