The organization is hiring a Warehouse & Inventory Officer to manage stock control, warehouse processes, and logistics support in a healthcare setting. This is a full-time role based in Port Harcourt, Rivers.
Key responsibilities
- Keep inventory data accurate and carry out regular physical stock checks.
- Track stock availability and arrange restocking when needed.
- Maintain proper storage conditions, labeling, cleanliness, and safety standards in the warehouse.
- Oversee receiving, issuing, dispatching, and internal movement of items.
- Handle logistics paperwork and monitor delivery status.
- Work closely with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams.
- Compile reports related to inventory and logistics activities.
- Follow company procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A B.Sc. in Pharmacology or another science-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics work.
- Prior exposure to a hospital or healthcare environment is an added advantage.
- Strong skills in organization, stock tracking, and record maintenance.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; familiarity with inventory software is beneficial.
- Good verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
