Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a waitress / F&B server in a private estate in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role is focused on providing refined, discreet, and highly personalized dining service that matches the standards of a luxury UHNW household.
The employer will handle the work visa and relocation support for candidates who are not currently local.
Key Purpose
The main objective of the role is to deliver an exceptionally polished dining experience, maintaining the exclusivity, elegance, and high service expectations of the private estate.
Qualifications and Experience
A 3-year hotel school diploma is considered an advantage. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Michelin-starred or 5-star restaurants, hotels, or luxury properties. Strong English fluency is required. Fluency in Tagalog, Sinhala, or Tamil is an added benefit.
Core Duties
- Maintain a positive attitude, strong communication, and immaculate grooming and presentation.
- Provide professional, efficient, flexible, and personalized service at all times.
- Serve food courses and beverages to the required standard.
- Adapt smoothly to different service situations and changing needs.
- Know the room service offerings and menu well enough to answer guest questions confidently.
- Record the principal’s preferences, likes, and dislikes and share updates with the F&B Manager and senior butlers.
- Ensure the principal’s needs are followed through until each course and beverage service is completed to full satisfaction.
- Set up the table properly and serve welcome drinks whenever the principal arrives at the residence.
- Carry out duties with priority, dedication, discretion, and calm professionalism while respecting timing standards.
- Keep the dining area and reception spaces clean and orderly.
- Document all relevant information, instructions, and updates, and complete a proper handover before finishing the shift.
- Monitor stock levels of items used in the residence.
- Follow company rules and regulations, including fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies, and participate in meetings, training, and related activities as scheduled.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary is AED 2,000 per month, tax free. Additional benefits include shared accommodation, meals, and health insurance. The work schedule includes one day off per week. A home ticket is provided every second year along with 60 days of leave.
Start Date
The role is expected to begin immediately.
