VP Merchandising & Revenue Operations

Role Overview

This opportunity is with a major consumer-facing organisation seeking a Vice President for Merchandising & Revenue Operations. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the role provides senior commercial leadership to improve revenue, profitability, and operational performance across the business.

The position carries responsibility for setting direction across merchandising, retail operations, food & beverage operations, commercial planning, and revenue operations to strengthen performance across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee merchandising planning, including forecasting demand, optimising inventory, and shaping assortment strategies across outlets and channels.
• Create and implement visual merchandising standards that strengthen brand presentation, improve the customer journey, and support stronger commercial outcomes.
• Direct the preparation and management of annual budgets, financial projections, and capital spending plans aligned with strategic priorities and long-term growth.
• Lead integrated commercial programmes and operational improvement efforts that raise profitability, encourage innovation, and support a strong destination experience in line with the brand direction.
• Improve operating efficiency through disciplined cost management, labour optimisation, productivity gains, and the standardisation of processes and systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring at least 15 years of business experience, together with demonstrated leadership in revenue optimisation and merchandising. Strong sector knowledge is expected, along with the ability to lead at a senior commercial level.

A relevant Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or an equivalent qualification, is required.
