Job description

Role Overview

This is a senior global leadership opportunity based in Germany, focused on steering and growing a major multi-billion-dollar technology partnership across multiple regions and business units. The position carries responsibility for long-term transformation, commercial growth, and executive-level coordination within a complex international matrix structure.

You will shape the portfolio toward higher-value offerings spanning cloud, networking, data and AI, security, data center, and services. A core part of the role is aligning regional leaders, vendor partners, and internal teams around one coherent growth agenda while adapting execution to local market needs.

This role offers significant influence over a flagship global vendor relationship, with major revenue responsibility and the chance to drive lasting strategic change.

Key Accountabilities

  • Take ownership of the global HPE business portfolio and lead efforts to sustain growth and expand strategic reach across markets.
  • Design and implement a multi-year transformation roadmap centered on higher-value solutions in cloud, networking, data and AI, security, data center, and services.
  • Coordinate a worldwide matrix organization and keep regions, countries, and business units aligned on shared priorities.
  • Develop and preserve executive relationships with HPE stakeholders to secure financial, technical, and program support.
  • Manage the global business cadence, including monthly and quarterly performance reviews and governance routines.
  • Partner with transformation and next-generation teams to build differentiated go-to-market approaches and solution portfolios.
  • Lead initiatives from strategy creation through regional and local execution, ensuring strong follow-through at every stage.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, infrastructure, or vendor management settings.
  • At least 15 years of leadership experience building and guiding teams in large, complex, global organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, go-to-market execution, and large-scale vendor partnership management.
  • Proven ability to operate in matrixed environments and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, hardware, software, and channel ecosystems.
  • Excellent commercial and technical judgment, with the ability to turn technology capabilities into business strategy.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders globally.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively, build consensus, and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Excellent organization and execution skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple high-priority initiatives under pressure.
  • High ethical standards, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal effectiveness in multicultural environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Benefits

  • Senior executive role with global reach and strong strategic influence.
  • Competitive compensation package reflecting executive-level responsibility.
  • Local-market benefits that may include healthcare and insurance support, depending on country standards.
  • Strong emphasis on leadership development and executive career progression.
  • Access to international learning resources, training programs, and professional certifications.
  • Inclusive global workplace with close cross-functional collaboration.
  • Opportunity to take part in worldwide initiatives, communities, and leadership networks.
  • Flexible working culture that balances autonomy with global coordination.
