Job description
Role Summary
This role focuses on reviewing enhanced and upscaled video content with a sharp visual eye. The main objective is to spot quality issues at the frame level and record detailed observations that help improve advanced visual enhancement systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect upscaled and enhanced video outputs to judge visual accuracy and consistency.
- Spot compression artifacts, noise, aliasing, softness, and other visible defects.
- Evaluate visual quality frame by frame across video sequences.
- Write clear, accurate notes describing the issues observed during review.
- Create and compare visual samples that support quality judgments.
- Make sure review results follow the required evaluation standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- Hands-on professional experience evaluating visual quality in film, VFX, cinematography, photography, or a similar visual discipline.
- Ability to reliably identify image artifacts, color mismatches, and rendering problems.
- Comfort working with visual production, post-production, or image review processes.
- Access to a 4K monitor for detailed visual inspection.
- Familiarity with visual generation and assessment tools.
- Strong written English skills for documenting review findings.
Job Details
This is a contingent W2 contract position that can be performed remotely. Compensation is stated at $60 to $90 per hour.
