This is a fully remote, full-time independent contractor position supporting a portfolio of boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts, and premium short-term rentals. The role sits at the centre of guest communication, reservation handling, and property coordination, with responsibility for delivering a smooth experience from the first enquiry through to checkout.

What the Role Involves

You will act as the main contact for guest enquiries and operational coordination across a mixed hospitality portfolio. The job requires strong system handling, excellent communication, and the ability to manage reservations, listings, and guest issues with a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guest enquiries, special requests, arrival details, and live issue resolution.
  • Manage reservation calendars, availability, pricing updates, and booking changes in Guesty and Uplisting.
  • Maintain listings and guest reputation across Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and Google by handling reviews and platform updates.
  • Coordinate daily with on-site hotel teams and remote housekeeping or maintenance staff to keep turnovers and readiness on track.
  • Track and resolve OTA disputes, chargebacks, overbooking risks, and related administrative tasks, including records and arrival reporting.
  • Provide dependable support outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, for urgent guest messages and emergencies.

Requirements

  • Advanced practical experience with Guesty and Uplisting is essential.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing reservations and guest relations across both hotels or B&Bs and short-term rentals.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with a polished, warm, and professional communication style.
  • Availability to work in line with UK business hours and to monitor issues during evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Strong working knowledge of Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia Group, including rate structures and dispute handling.
  • Highly organised, self-directed, and able to manage a varied property portfolio independently.

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Exposure to dynamic pricing platforms such as PriceLabs or Beyond Pricing.
  • Experience with hotel channel managers such as SiteMinder.
