Role Overview

Our Creative Services media team produces essential visual content for our fishing and outdoor brands, ranging from product launches and lifestyle videos to interviews and digital series of varying lengths. If you prefer capturing moments behind the camera, especially on boats, instead of desk work, this role is a great fit.

We seek a highly skilled visual storyteller who excels in both filming and editing to create engaging narratives that connect with our audiences. The ideal candidate is driven, adaptable in dynamic environments, and consistently comes up with innovative solutions to deliver exceptional projects. This role uniquely combines on-location shooting with post-production editing, requiring between 20% to 40% travel and frequent work outdoors on boats.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct video filming on set and on location, dedicating significant time to boat shoots.
• Create diverse video content including product showcases, lifestyle portrayals, interviews, social media clips, and both short- and long-form digital series.
• Edit captured footage in post-production to craft polished final videos.
• Operate various camera equipment such as Sony A7Siii, FX6, action cameras, and DJI drones competently.
• Travel as required up to 20-40% annually.
• Endure extended shoots in outdoor and boating environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film, advertising, or a related discipline, or a minimum of three years’ professional experience.
• Strong videography skills paired with a solid grasp of storytelling techniques.
• Extensive experience filming and editing using professional camera gear and software.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere and the Creative Cloud suite.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and working independently.
• A passionate commitment to continuous improvement in videography craft.
• Preferred experience includes product video production, special effects using After Effects, and familiarity with the fishing or outdoor industry.
