Video Editor - Bengali

Role Overview

We are seeking a Video Editor proficient in Bengali to craft compelling communication materials across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with copywriters to develop creative video content by utilizing both original footage and repurposed materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and generate impactful video content tailored to team specifications and briefs.
• Collaborate with creative teams and understand scripts and raw footage for editing.
• Trim and assemble video segments into seamless sequences.
• Add audio elements such as music and dialogues along with graphics and effects.
• Create both rough and polished final video cuts ensuring logical flow and smooth transitions.
• Engage with stakeholders across departments to meet project requirements.
• Continuously research and apply the latest editing techniques and industry standards for optimal efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience between 1 to 4 years in art or design roles within advertising agencies (ATL/digital) or brand/start-up environments.
• Demonstrated prior experience creating social media posts, advertisements, or banners.
• Strong ability to interpret briefs and transform them into high-quality communication materials.
• Proficiency in Bengali, Hindi, and English languages is highly preferred.
• Expertise with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, and digital editing software such as Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut.
• Knowledge of special effects, animation, 3D graphics, and compositing techniques.
• Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail and solid grasp of design and visual principles.
• Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Creative storytelling ability and methodical work approach.
• Possession of own editing machine or desktop computer is mandatory.

This is a contractual position extended until June 2027.
