About the Role
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor to contribute to the expansion of our YouTube channel. This role focuses on editing both long-form videos and Shorts to engage viewers and increase retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube long-form video content as well as Shorts formats.
- Incorporate motion graphics, apply seamless transitions, add subtitles, and select appropriate background music.
- Produce captivating edits that sustain high viewer retention rates.
- Create visually appealing video thumbnails (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ensure timely delivery of final video edits while maintaining high quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools.
- Solid understanding of YouTube’s editing trends and techniques to maximize audience engagement.
- Ability to work autonomously and adhere to deadlines.
- Submission of portfolio or examples of previous YouTube video editing work is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of video editing experience; however, freshers with outstanding editing capabilities are also welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with editing content in Hindi is considered an advantage.
