Role Overview
This leadership role is responsible for shaping and scaling the global HR Shared Services function. The position focuses on building efficient, technology-enabled HR operations that deliver consistent service across the employee lifecycle while improving governance, compliance, and the overall employee experience.
Strategy and Operations
- Set the direction for global HR Shared Services and champion ongoing operational improvement.
- Manage HR operations across the full employee journey to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality.
- Define service delivery expectations such as SLAs, KPIs, and other performance measures.
- Create and execute multi-year plans to modernize and expand HR shared services worldwide.
- Regularly review and refine the operating model so it remains aligned with business and workforce needs.
Process and Technology
- Build scalable HR processes and service delivery frameworks.
- Guide the development of the HR technology landscape to support automation, self-service, and a stronger employee experience.
- Work with HR and cross-functional partners to simplify workflows and remove unnecessary complexity.
- Spot and implement opportunities to improve processes through digital tools and automation.
Data, Compliance and Governance
- Maintain strong data quality, security, and governance across HR systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and data privacy requirements across global locations.
- Use reporting and analytics to generate insight, support decisions, and improve performance.
- Put controls and standards in place to drive consistency and reduce global risk.
Leadership and Partnership
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global HR Shared Services and HRIS team.
- Manage through other leaders to grow capability, accountability, and impact across regions.
- Collaborate closely with HR centers of excellence, HR Business Partners, and leaders in IT, Finance, and Legal.
- Act as a trusted advisor on HR operations, shared services, and employee experience.
- Bring alignment across regions, stakeholder groups, and business units in a complex global environment.
Experience and Background
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in HR operations and global shared services, especially within large matrixed organizations. A strong background in transformation, service delivery, technology enablement, and compliance is essential.
