Job description

Role overview

This position is centered on evaluating early-stage and fast-growing businesses to support venture investment decisions. The analyst will look for promising startups, study their commercial strength, and assess whether their markets offer meaningful upside.

Core responsibilities

The role involves detailed research across industries and markets to spot emerging trends, new technologies, and sectors with strong growth potential. You will review startups by examining their business models, product-market fit, competitive landscape, customer traction, and scalability.

A major part of the job is financial review and investment due diligence. This includes studying financial statements, revenue structures, unit economics, valuation indicators, and operational performance to identify potential risks and likely returns. Your analysis will be used to support investment decisions and broader portfolio planning.

You will also contribute to sourcing opportunities by following startup ecosystems, keeping up with industry movements, attending relevant events, and staying aware of new companies and possible investments. The role includes helping prepare investment memos, reports, and presentation materials for internal use.

Another area of responsibility is portfolio monitoring. This means tracking business performance, reviewing company progress, and highlighting risks or opportunities in existing investments. You will work with investment professionals, founders, and other stakeholders to collect information and support ongoing assessments.

What the role calls for

The position needs strong analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and careful attention to detail. You should be able to turn complex findings into clear, practical insights that help guide investment choices in a fast-moving environment.
