Job description
Company Overview
All-Pro Auto Reconditioning (APAR) serves automotive dealers with a single-vendor model that brings multiple vehicle reconditioning services together under one system and one accountable partner. Its offerings include paintless dent repair, paint and body work, interior reconditioning, wheel repair, windshield services, paint protection film, ceramic coating, window tint, and dealership photography. By centralizing these services, APAR helps dealers shorten reconditioning time, improve vehicle presentation, and control operating costs. Established in Houston in 1994, the company now supports dealers across more than 22 states through a field team of 1,400+ technicians.
Role Overview
This position is part of the Vehicle Reconditioning team and is focused on getting vehicles ready for front-line display. The work is performed on-site in the Eastern Region and is full time. The role calls for high-quality cosmetic work and minor repairs, completed according to standard procedures and dealership requirements.
Key Duties
The team member will inspect vehicles to determine the reconditioning work needed, carry out assigned services, and make sure each job meets company quality standards. Depending on assignment and skill level, tasks may include exterior detailing, interior cleaning, minor paint and body repairs, wheel refinishing, windshield chip repair, and installation of protective products such as PPF, ceramic coating, and window tint. The role also involves recording completed work accurately and coordinating closely with service advisors, dealership personnel, and fellow technicians so vehicles move through the recon process efficiently.
Working Style and Standards
Success in this role depends on safe work habits, consistency, and strict adherence to established processes. The technician is expected to manage time well in a busy dealership setting, handle several vehicles in a day, and maintain a professional approach in all interactions.
Qualifications
Applicants should have practical experience or strong aptitude in vehicle appearance and minor repair work, along with the ability to follow standardized methods and produce reliable results. A basic understanding of automotive tools and materials, familiarity with safety practices, and clear communication skills are also important. Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning, detailing, or body shop work is an advantage, though training may be available for motivated candidates. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required so vehicles can be moved safely around the lot.
