About the Role
Clutch is looking for a Vehicle Inspector to support its vehicle operations team in Enfield, Nova Scotia. The role focuses on checking incoming vehicles, confirming they meet the company’s quality expectations, and helping move them efficiently into reconditioning or sales. You will record vehicle condition, flag concerns, and work closely with internal teams to keep operations moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Review arriving vehicles for cosmetic damage, cleanliness, and mechanical concerns.
- Spot issues that do not meet Clutch’s quality benchmarks and escalate them appropriately.
- Move, start, and park vehicles safely and efficiently across the lot.
- Log inspection findings through checklists and digital systems.
- Partner with reconditioning, detailing, and mechanical teams to manage vehicle priority and flow.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting for small vehicle-related issues.
- Maintain tidy work areas and follow all required safety practices.
Requirements
- Strong focus on detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of vehicles, or a strong interest in learning.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate automatic vehicles; manual transmission experience is an asset.
- Comfort using tablets and simple computer applications.
- Dependable, collaborative, and ready to support the team where needed.
- Availability for a full-time 40-hour workweek, with overtime when business demands it.
Preferred Experience
- Background in automotive, logistics, or warehouse environments.
- Exposure to Google Sheets or similar digital tools.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay of $18.25.
