Role overview

This contract role is for a multidisciplinary design specialist who will work remotely and contribute across visual design and UX/UI review tasks. The work involves improving design interview content, checking AI-created outputs for quality, and supporting the ongoing refinement of design-focused tools and training materials.

Compensation and commitment

The engagement pays between $20 and $64 per hour. The expected workload is flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours each week.

What you will do

  • Review and polish design interview materials with an emphasis on visual presentation and UX/UI quality.
  • Evaluate AI-produced content for clarity, practicality, and alignment with current design standards.
  • Provide specific, usable recommendations to improve layouts, hierarchy, and the end-user experience.
  • Work alongside AI training teams to keep outputs aligned with changing industry expectations.
  • Help improve AI tools by applying hands-on design expertise to practical scenarios.
  • Promote user-focused design practices and ensure consistency in branding across reviewed materials.

Required background and skills

  • You should bring multidisciplinary design experience backed by a strong portfolio.
  • A thorough understanding of typography, spacing, layout, and visual design fundamentals is important.
  • Hands-on capability with Figma and Adobe tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD is expected.
  • You need practical experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design workflows.
  • The role also calls for the ability to evaluate and develop branding and visual identity systems.
