Voiceover Artist

Overview

We are looking for a contract Voiceover Artist to work remotely from Canada. The assignment offers hourly pay between $20 and $50, and the expected workload is 10 to 40 hours each week.

What you will do

• Provide polished voice performances for a mix of content styles, such as commercials, storytelling pieces, and character-based scripts.
• Bring scripts to life with the right emotional tone and subtlety, while adapting delivery based on direction.
• Join live direction sessions with clients and creative stakeholders to refine performance choices.
• Produce clean, professional audio recordings from a personal studio setup with strong technical quality.
• Work alongside writers, producers, and audio engineers to help deliver projects on schedule and to brief.
• Re-record or adjust lines when revisions or client feedback call for changes.

What we’re looking for

• Strong voice performance ability with a track record of expressing a wide emotional range across different content types.
• Comfort with detailed direction and the ability to modify delivery quickly and accurately.
• Hands-on experience using voice recording software and home studio gear.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a professional and responsive approach.
• Good self-management, discipline, and time management for remote work and deadline-driven tasks.
• A portfolio showcasing prior voice acting or voiceover work in different settings.
