Job Summary

We are seeking a Utility Locate Technician based in Commerce City, Colorado. This role involves independently working outdoors, using a company-provided vehicle to complete daily locate requests for underground utilities safely and accurately. The position requires adherence to safety and federal regulations and may involve on-call duties, overtime, and night or weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate independently using a company vehicle as a mobile workstation to complete assigned routes daily.
• Precisely locate and mark underground utilities using paint, flags, and whiskers to prevent excavation damage.
• Utilize the mobile work system to receive and manage daily tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and perform overtime hours including nights and weekends as necessary.

Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug test, motor vehicle record review, and background check.
• Comply with Federal Department of Transportation regulations as this is a DOT safety-sensitive role; marijuana use, medical or recreational, is prohibited.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid driver's license.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wages range from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience.
