About the Role
ELM Utility Services is hiring a Utility Locate Technician for the Lincoln, Nebraska area. With a nationwide workforce of more than 1,700 employees, the company supports communities by helping protect gas, electric, and communications infrastructure. In this role, you will perform precise utility marking work that helps prevent damage during excavation and supports the reliability of essential services. The team uses LaunchPoint software to streamline daily work and improve efficiency. Pay starts at $22.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Work independently outdoors and manage a daily route of locate requests using the assigned company vehicle as a mobile office.
- Locate and mark underground utilities carefully, safely, and efficiently using marking paint, flags, and occasionally whiskers.
- Receive and manage daily assignments through a mobile work system.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background screening.
- This is a safety-sensitive DOT role and must comply with all applicable federal Department of Transportation rules.
- Use of marijuana, whether medical or recreational, is not permitted for this position.
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license is required.
