Role overview
The Non-Clinical Administrator Reviewer supports the utilization review workflow by handling administrative and data-focused tasks. The position is centered on making sure submissions are complete, properly recorded, and sent to the right place, while staying strictly away from any clinical assessment or interpretation of medical details.
Key duties
- Carry out the first check of utilization review submissions to confirm that the information provided is complete and accurate.
- Examine service requests to verify that all required non-clinical documents are included.
- Gather, arrange, and move non-clinical information into internal platforms.
- Enter and update data in Medata’s proprietary UR system with a high level of accuracy.
- Support information collection activities without performing clinical review or analysis.
- Finish assigned work within agreed timelines and service-level targets.
- Work with Initial Clinical Reviewers and other internal groups to help move cases forward.
- Protect confidentiality and follow data privacy and security standards at all times.
- Handle other administrative tasks as needed based on business requirements.
Experience, training, and education
- A college degree is required, with preference for candidates from a health sciences background.
- Prior experience in administrative support, data entry, or back-office operations is an advantage.
- Background in utilization management, healthcare administration, or insurance-related processes is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel, is required.
- Experience in a fast-moving work environment is expected.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
This role calls for strong accuracy in typing, spelling, sentence structure, and punctuation, along with careful attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to work with limited supervision, use basic reading, writing, and math skills, communicate clearly, coordinate effectively in a team setting, and stay organized while managing time well. Integrity and discretion with sensitive information are critical.

This position is based in the Philippines and is a full-time onsite role. The work is administrative in nature and does not involve any clinical evaluation, judgment, or interpretation of medical data.
