Job description
Role overview
This full-time position is based in Dublin, Ireland, at Eastpoint D3, and runs for 12 months with the possibility of being extended. The role is part of a 40-hour work week and requires flexibility to operate in a 24/7 environment.
The Trust and Safety team within Accenture Operations supports major platform businesses by helping keep online spaces safe, improving service quality, and enabling better performance at scale. As a content moderator, you will contribute to the safety and reliability of user-generated content while also gaining practical experience in a global environment.
What the role involves
You will review user profiles, audio, video, and text content, and you may also investigate, escalate, or help resolve issues identified by users or system flags. This work supports the protection of online communities and helps maintain platform integrity.
The position can involve exposure to sensitive or disturbing material, including graphic, violent, sexual, or otherwise objectionable content. You may also encounter flashing lights or high-contrast visual patterns as part of the job.
Because of the nature of the work, strong resilience, sound coping strategies, and access to wellbeing support are important. Accenture offers a well-being support program tailored to the Trust & Safety community.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, categorize, and where required remove content in line with client rules, using the relevant tools and workflows.
- Keep up to date with evolving client policies and moderation standards.
- Look into complex content-related matters and communicate them to the wider Trust and Safety group when needed.
- Act as a representative of the user community while balancing policy requirements.
- Contribute ideas and actions for improving quality, efficiency, and process performance.
- Take part in ongoing training and team discussions to strengthen role performance.
- Handle conversations around socially sensitive topics to help maintain safer online communities.
Skills and qualifications
Applicants should be able to work objectively and fairly, without letting personal beliefs affect policy-based decisions. The role also calls for strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to compare and interpret information from multiple sources.
Excellent comprehension, communication, and Hebrew language ability are essential. A strong interest in the internet, online platforms, and digital culture is important, along with awareness of political and social context in the relevant market and region.
Successful candidates should be comfortable working both independently and in a team, able to adapt to changing business needs, and willing to work non-standard hours, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Experience in business process outsourcing, customer service, or content moderation is an added advantage.
Eligibility
Applicants must be over 18 years of age and should be prepared to complete an English language assessment as well as a language test in the relevant language during the interview process. If night shifts are part of the schedule, completion of a night worker health assessment is required, and continued employment depends on being medically fit for night work.
Benefits
- Opportunity to work with a large international organization.
- Access to strong training and development support.
- Participation in company social events.
- Potential for career progression.
Equal opportunity and adjustments
The employer welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Reasonable adjustments can be arranged for candidates with specific needs during the recruitment process. Contact [email protected] for support.
