Truck Driver

Role overview

The company is hiring a driver to move employees, transport and retrieve parcels, and maintain detailed trip logs such as working hours, travel time, destinations, mileage, and fuel use. The role also includes carrying out regular checks on the vehicle and keeping it in reliable working order.

Key duties

• Move staff, goods, and materials safely between locations while staying efficient and punctual.
• Help with loading and unloading luggage, packages, and other items when required.
• Choose and adjust routes to reduce delays caused by congestion, road works, or hazards.
• Follow traffic regulations at all times and report any tickets or violations received while on duty.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked only in authorized places to prevent fines, towing, or similar issues.
• Clean the vehicle inside and outside on a routine basis and carry out basic upkeep to keep it in good condition.
• Maintain complete and accurate logs for vehicle use, including departure and return times, distance covered, and fuel consumption.
• Immediately inform management about any collision, breakdown, injury, or other incident.
• Make sure all vehicle documents, such as insurance and registration, remain current and valid.

Qualifications and expectations

The driver should be able to operate company vehicles responsibly, manage routes effectively, follow legal driving standards, and maintain organized records. A careful approach to safety, vehicle care, and timely communication is essential.
