Role overview

Knauf Metal is hiring a full-time Customer Service Truck Operator in Toormina, New South Wales. This hands-on position combines local deliveries with warehouse, trade store, and customer service responsibilities. The role is based on site and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:30am to 2:30pm.

What the role involves

You will support daily warehouse operations while also driving a truck to complete deliveries. The job requires a strong focus on safe handling, accurate record-keeping, organised work practices, and professional service when interacting with customers.

  • Deliver goods safely to the required destination.
  • Load and unload items carefully to reduce the risk of damage.
  • Keep delivery documentation accurate and complete all required paperwork.
  • Look after operational equipment and escalate any faults or damage.
  • Carry out general warehouse work and housekeeping tasks.
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries.

About you

  • You are based in, or close to, Coffs Harbour.
  • You bring prior warehouse experience, which is strongly preferred.
  • You hold a current MR licence, which is mandatory.
  • You can commit to working full time from the Coffs Harbour site, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm.

Requirements

  • Full and unrestricted right to work in Australia; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • A valid police check.
  • Current MR licence.
  • Forklift licence, or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks and remain physically fit for the role.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
