Job description
Role overview
The Travel Specialist role is focused on converting incoming enquiries into confirmed bookings, supporting customers throughout their journey, and coordinating tour operations for each reservation. This position also contributes to feedback collection, reporting, and occasional marketing support.
Key responsibilities
- Manage enquiries coming in from multiple channels with the goal of turning them into confirmed bookings.
- Provide post-booking client service in line with company standard operating procedures and service expectations.
- Oversee all stages of tour operations according to internal SOPs to support finance processes and related statistical reporting.
- Follow up with clients after they return from their tours, collect feedback, organize it properly, and share it with the product team.
- Support marketing-related activities when needed.
Reporting line
This role reports to the Travel Manager.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a travel agency is preferred.
- Strong enthusiasm for travel, along with sound travel knowledge.
- A sales-driven mindset with the ability to close bookings.
- Good interpersonal, customer service, and people-handling skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
