Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Erode for a Travel Consultant. The role involves managing the complete travel planning cycle, from understanding client requirements and suggesting suitable itineraries to arranging transport, accommodation, and other travel-related services. You will also handle bookings, confirm reservations, maintain accurate travel records and documentation, and make sure all arrangements are completed correctly.
Key Duties
In this role, you will provide prompt support to clients, respond to questions and concerns, and recommend destinations, travel routes, and suitable options based on their needs. You will coordinate with vendors, keep client information up to date, and contribute to improving travel workflows and service quality.
Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates should have a strong foundation in travel consulting and travel management, along with practical experience in arranging trips and handling reservations. A customer-first approach, clear communication, strong interpersonal abilities, and careful attention to detail are important. Good organization is needed to manage multiple bookings efficiently. Familiarity with travel booking platforms or related software is useful, and experience in travel, hospitality, or tourism is preferred. A diploma or degree in travel, tourism, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
