Travel Consultant

Role overview

This position is for a travel professional who will manage business-to-business travel enquiries, build tailored domestic holiday itineraries, and support the full booking journey from quotation to final service delivery. The role also includes coordination with partner agents, handling trip changes, and keeping the customer experience smooth while meeting sales goals.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to travel requests received from partner agents and manage them in a timely manner.
• Create customized domestic tour itineraries based on client needs.
• Build accurate cost sheets and send out competitive price quotations.
• Lock in bookings and make sure all travel documents are complete and correct.
• Follow up regularly with agents to move enquiries toward conversion.
• Coordinate changes, cancellations, and urgent last-minute updates.
• Support seamless tour execution and work toward high client satisfaction.
• Work against monthly sales targets.

Skills and competencies

Strong knowledge of domestic travel planning, quotation preparation, booking coordination, documentation accuracy, follow-up management, sales target orientation, client communication, and handling itinerary changes is important for success in this role.

Compensation

The salary offered for this position is INR 15,000 to INR 25,000 per month.
