Role overview
LV Petroleum LLC is hiring a Porter for its Medley, Florida location. This role supports the day-to-day cleanliness, order, and usability of the property so that customers and employees have a pleasant and well-maintained environment.
Interview details
Walk-in interviews will be held at 12200 NW South River Dr, Medley, FL, USA. Candidates can attend between 11:00 AM EST and 4:00 PM EST.
What you will do
- Keep restrooms, break areas, and other common/public spaces clean through regular housekeeping tasks.
- Carry out floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Remove waste, empty bins, and support proper trash handling systems.
- Help with minor upkeep tasks and inform management when larger repairs are needed.
- Assist with setting up and clearing spaces for meetings or events when required.
- Maintain stock, arrangement, and availability of cleaning materials and supplies.
- Offer polite, helpful customer service by welcoming guests and responding to basic questions when needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is preferred.
- Previous work in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial settings is an advantage.
- Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- A careful eye for detail and a strong standard of work are important.
- Good communication and a pleasant, approachable manner are needed.
- Should be able to work on your own as well as coordinate with a team.
- Availability for different shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed, is required.
