Role Overview

Fhemfel Travels in Abuja is seeking a knowledgeable and results-oriented Travel Agent who is passionate about facilitating clients' global travel experiences. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on study abroad options, manage flight bookings, coordinate travel packages, and ensure seamless travel documentation processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer specialized guidance on study abroad opportunities, including assistance with educational institution applications and visa-related advice.
• Handle reservations for domestic and international flights utilizing GDS platforms such as Amadeus or equivalents.
• Design and organize holiday tours, packages, and travel plans tailored to clients' preferences.
• Manage visa application submissions and ensure all necessary travel documents are accurate and complete.
• Provide clients with detailed information on travel prerequisites, insurance policies, and destination specifics.
• Develop and nurture strong client relationships while delivering exemplary customer service.
• Achieve designated sales objectives and contribute to revenue growth.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of at least a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in a related discipline.
• A minimum of two years’ professional experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Agent.
• Comprehensive understanding of study abroad admission procedures and related application processes.
• Demonstrated competence in flight ticketing through Amadeus or alternative GDS systems.
• Proven experience in structuring and marketing tours and holiday packages.
• Familiarity with visa application protocols for prominent global destinations.
• Superior communication, salesmanship, and client relationship management skills.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

Additional Advantages

• Holding an International Air Transport Association (IATA) certification.
• Experience using multiple Global Distribution Systems.
