About the Role

The Training Delivery Specialist will serve as a primary instructor within the Training Organisation, responsible for delivering high-quality training programs tailored to meet client and organizational requirements. This position demands a solid grasp of instructional design principles, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), adult learning methodologies, and effective classroom facilitation techniques. A flexible, learner-centric approach is crucial to ensure training content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with learning objectives.

Key responsibilities include conducting in-person and virtual training sessions, contributing to course development, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and assisting in the evaluation and reporting of training effectiveness. The role also necessitates close collaboration with the wider training team for scheduling, material preparation, and ensuring proper configuration and auditability. A strong understanding of professional training standards and regional regulatory requirements is essential for maintaining the quality and compliance of training delivery.

Training Design & Content Development

  • Design and develop engaging, standards-aligned training materials across a variety of subject areas, including technical, professional, leadership, and language disciplines.
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies to create content that is accessible, learner-centric, and suitable for various delivery formats (classroom, virtual, or blended).
  • Conduct Training Needs Analyses (TNA) to ensure program content is relevant, current, and aligned with client and organizational objectives.
  • Create, adapt, and contextualize training materials for diverse learner profiles, language backgrounds, and experience levels, with particular attention to British and Arabic speaking audiences.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance existing course materials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current best practices.

Training Delivery

  • Confidently and effectively deliver in-person and virtual training sessions on a wide range of topics and for diverse learner groups, from early-career professionals to seasoned technical practitioners.
  • Facilitate interactive and engaging learning environments that promote participation, critical thinking, and practical skill application.
  • Manage the entire session lifecycle, from preparation and room/platform setup to delivery, assessment, and post-training reviews.
  • Adapt delivery style, pace, and approach to accommodate the needs of individual learners and cohort groups, including those for whom English is a second language.

Accreditation & Quality Standards

  • Develop a working knowledge of relevant professional accreditation bodies, awarding organizations, and regulatory frameworks applicable to the training portfolio (e.g., CMI, APM, or equivalent).
  • Support the preparation and submission of accreditation applications, ensuring training materials, delivery records, and assessment processes meet required standards.
  • Ensure all training delivery and documentation adheres to internal quality frameworks and external accreditation requirements.
  • Contribute to internal audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement processes by identifying and addressing areas for development.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable training records, registers, and evaluation data in compliance with governance requirements.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate closely with the broader BSL team, subject matter experts, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to training delivery.
  • Gather, analyze, and act upon learner feedback to continuously enhance program quality and the learner experience.
  • Contribute to the development of new training offerings in response to client needs and market demand.
  • Support bid and proposal activities by providing high-quality content, course outlines, and evidence of delivery capability as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment by sharing knowledge, modeling best practices, and supporting colleagues' development through daily work.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage professionally with clients and learners throughout the training lifecycle, building confidence and credibility through subject matter expertise and delivery quality.
  • Support client-facing activities, including needs discussions, program briefings, and post-delivery reviews.
  • Ensure training delivery consistently meets or exceeds client expectations and contractual obligations.
