Role Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Trainee Drafter to join our Civil Engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates eager to learn about civil engineering and develop skills in digital design. This position offers a vibrant career start where you will work with cutting-edge tools and technology, supporting projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in technical designing and documentation for civil infrastructure projects including earthworks, drainage, grading, and pavements.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, designers, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment.
  • Contribute effectively to teams delivering infrastructure and urban development projects nationwide.
  • Create detailed technical drawings using software such as 12D and AutoCAD.
  • Work in partnership with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.

Requirements and Skills

  • Currently studying or recently completed a Certificate IV or Diploma in fields related to Civil Construction Design or similar.
  • Strong enthusiasm for learning and growing digital design capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a committed approach to quality.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Australian citizenship eligibility for baseline security clearance.
