The administrator will also support integrations with Port Community System, Gate Management System, ERP / Oracle Fusion / EBS, CRM, Access Control System, Fleet Management System, Maximo, Resource Management System, Power BI dashboards, databases such as Oracle DB, Postgres DB, and MSSQL, as well as Oracle SOA middleware.

Core responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs for TOS and translate them into workable system solutions.

  • Track system health, operations, and performance to keep the platform stable and within agreed SLAs.
  • Carry out maintenance planning, including corrective and preventive maintenance activities across supported TOS platforms.
  • Manage AMC arrangements and ensure vendors and contractors meet service commitments and quality expectations.
  • Guide contractor, vendor, and OEM technical teams, including supervision, training, and performance review.
  • Respond to incidents, diagnose failures, and drive troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain clear technical and operational documentation, service records, asset status, and inventory-related information.
  • Work with suppliers and service partners for equipment, spare parts, and technical support while keeping solutions cost-effective.
  • Enforce safety procedures and compliance requirements in all maintenance and operations activities.
  • Support project work from requirement definition through design, planning, implementation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Define project scope, identify stakeholders and financiers, and contribute to planning and design discussions.
  • Coordinate with CPD on approach selection, tendering, warranty, and defect liability period matters.

Required experience and background

The role calls for at least 4 years of relevant experience in TOS administration, business analysis, system architecture, TOS design, database management, project coordination, operations and maintenance, and systems testing / commissioning.

Strong knowledge is expected in terminal operations across GC, bulk, rail, CFS, RoRo, and container environments, along with practical exposure to databases, network and server architecture, virtual machines, cloud infrastructure, Windows Server, and Linux.

Tools and technical exposure

Hands-on familiarity is expected with reporting and analysis tools such as Power BI, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, TOAD, MSSQL Server tools, FileZilla, Postman, and PuTTY. Exposure to programming and integration technologies such as PLSQL, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, APIs, and Java is also relevant for this role.
