About the Role
SSP Group plc is hiring a Cashier for the Tim Hortons outlet at Kelowna International Airport in Kelowna, British Columbia. In this role, you will provide quick, courteous service to airport travelers and help keep operations running smoothly in a busy food service setting.

Workplace and Security Requirements
This position is based in a secure airport area, so a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) is mandatory. Candidates must be legally permitted to work in Canada and must present the government-issued documents needed for airport security screening. These documents will be checked during onboarding in line with Transport Canada rules.
Key Duties
- Welcome guests in a polite, welcoming way
- Take orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
- Accept customer payments and provide the correct change
- Handle setup, routine upkeep, cleaning, and shut-down of equipment and machinery
- Complete required opening, in-shift, and closing checklists
- Put away all used items, keep food and storage areas tidy, including coolers and refrigerators, and empty and replace trash liners
- Carry out assigned cleaning tasks with standard cleaning products while meeting hygiene standards
Skills and Experience Needed
- At least six months of experience in a food service environment is preferred
- High school completion is preferred
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English well enough to communicate with guests and take orders
- Comfortable resolving customer service issues
- Able to remember, repeat, and promote menu items accurately
- Capable of using a keyboard and POS workflow to pre-check and close orders
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces
