Role Summary
We are seeking driven and sales-focused Territory Managers eager to make a significant impact and join our expanding global footprint. This opportunity suits self-motivated, commercially savvy professionals passionate about fostering business growth.
As the regional face of Selleys in West Auckland, you will work closely with key accounts such as Mitre 10, Bunnings, Placemakers, Carters, Guthrie Bowron, and Dulux. You will be instrumental in bolstering business growth within retail and trade sectors, serving as a trusted advisor who leverages strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of clients, proactively driving sales and representing the company externally.
- Build trust and influence customer decisions by demonstrating expertise in data interpretation, category management, product knowledge, and market trends.
- Implement strategic initiatives to generate demand and consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Efficiently organize and manage your schedule to maintain regular customer interactions and sales calls.
- Identify and leverage in-store opportunities to maximize growth.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in sales or account management, preferably within hardware, FMCG, or retail/trade-related sectors.
- Strong ability to cultivate and sustain customer relationships.
- Comfortable working independently with good autonomy.
- Commercially minded with the capability to utilize data analytics for performance monitoring.
- High energy and initiative, combined with a collaborative team spirit.
- Demonstrated employment stability and a long-term commitment approach.
Farming experience in managing and nurturing existing customer accounts is vital for success in this position.
