About the Role

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Territory Development Representative for a phone-based role supporting remote and regional leads and customers across Queensland, New South Wales, and New Zealand. This position is key to driving revenue growth through proactive outbound calls, promoting products and campaigns, and qualifying leads for the field sales team. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with one day per week in the Wacol, QLD office and four days from home, with potential for fully remote work for the ideal candidate. This is a permanent, full-time position within a global company renowned for its iconic brands like DEWALT®, STANLEY®, Cub Cadet®, Hustler®, and BLACK+DECKER®.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls to current and prospective customers to present products and ongoing promotions.
  • Address customer inquiries and convert incoming leads into viable sales opportunities.
  • Maintain precise customer information and sales activity logs within CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed established monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist the field sales team by qualifying end-user leads and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Cultivate robust customer relationships through professional and proactive communication.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in outbound or inside sales, call center sales, or customer service roles with sales KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to handle objections and achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in organizational tasks and meticulous attention to detail in record-keeping and process adherence.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Prior experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or SAP is advantageous.
