Job description
Position Overview
The Informatics Department at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) within the Ying Wu College of Computing is inviting applications for tenure-track faculty positions. The appointments are slated to commence in the Fall of 2023. Candidates with expertise in Human Centered Computing (HCC) or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) are highly sought. However, outstanding applicants in related fields of Informatics and Information Science/Systems/Technology - including but not limited to serious or educational games, gaming behavior analysis, accessibility, human-robot interaction, health informatics, computer-supported cooperative work, augmented/virtual reality, and social computing - are welcome to apply.
Rank and Consideration
The role is primarily intended for an assistant professor rank; nonetheless, highly accomplished candidates with a strong record could be considered for more advanced faculty positions.
