Role overview
In this position, you will handle tendering activities for control and protection as well as substation automation systems. The role brings regular interaction with multiple stakeholders, varied work assignments, and strong learning and growth opportunities. You will be part of a diverse, fast-moving tender management group supporting upcoming projects across different regions, within a collaborative and transparent work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Study customer requirements and convert them into bills of materials, deviation lists, and detailed product configurations.
- Prepare precise cost estimates aligned with the tender scope.
- Work with the team manager to develop bid pricing and the overall proposal approach.
- Support the risk review process when required, following company policy.
- Check commercial and legal aspects of the offer together with front-end sales and the commercial/legal advisor.
- Track tender deliverables and maintain follow-up on scope and timelines.
- Work effectively in cross-functional and cross-border teams and adapt to changing workloads.
- Help improve internal processes and contribute to a strong customer experience by submitting high-quality work on time.
- Follow all applicable internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Act in line with the company’s safety and integrity values by taking responsibility for your actions and supporting colleagues and the business.
Candidate profile
The role calls for a proactive, results-oriented professional with strong analytical ability, good negotiation skills, and the capability to work in a flexible and demanding environment. You should bring prior engineering and tendering exposure, along with familiarity in handling tenders and risk assessments.
Required background
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience of 3 to 15 years in Electrical & Electronics is expected.
- Good working knowledge of protection and control products and substation automation systems.
- Previous experience in engineering and tendering, including risk assessment handling.
- High focus on quality, standardization, and reuse.
- Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
