About the Role

We are seeking an inquisitive and driven Analyst to join our Technology Strategy & Transformation team in Wellington. This entry-level role suits individuals with up to two years of relevant experience eager to contribute to advisory projects that drive meaningful change.

The Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) group partners with senior executives and IT leaders to craft trusted technology strategies, optimize business technology landscapes, and guide organizational transformations across diverse industries. Acting as strategic partners, we empower businesses to harness technology for improved efficiency and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advisory services to executive leadership on technology strategy alignment with business goals.
• Design and implement operating models for digital, technology, and transformation initiatives.
• Conduct requirements gathering and evaluate options for new enterprise applications and capabilities.
• Manage technology procurement, commercial evaluation, and vendor assessments for business platforms.
• Provide enterprise architecture advice including system rationalization and scalability strategies.
• Develop transformation programs including business case creation, delivery approaches, value realization methods and support governance frameworks.

Qualifications & Skills

• 0–2 years experience in consulting, advisory, or roles involving stakeholder engagement and structured recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to distill complex issues and provide actionable advice.
• Collaborative mindset with skills to build relationships and adapt to changing client priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey complex concepts clearly across audiences.
• A growth-oriented attitude characterized by continuous learning, integrity, and accountability.
• Basic understanding of enterprise technology environments, including architecture, service management, technology operating models, or cloud computing.
• Familiarity with technology delivery and transformational practices such as business analysis, user experience, agile methodology, and process improvement.
• Interest in emerging technologies and AI for business enhancement.
• Experience facilitating workshops and converting outcomes into clear, actionable recommendations and decisions.
