Role Overview

This position is offered on behalf of a partner organization seeking a technically skilled writer based in Saudi Arabia. The Technical Writer will join a global, remote-first team, spearheading how developers and technical audiences engage with intricate software products. This role encompasses ownership of documentation for critical product segments, working closely with engineering, product, and design stakeholders to develop clear, precise, and impactful technical content.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivering and maintaining documentation across one or multiple product areas as the primary technical writing collaborator for product teams.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to stay informed of product updates and ensure the information is accurate, timely, and aligned with product releases.
• Develop deep knowledge of assigned products by hands-on testing and creating documentation tailored to real user requirements.
• Manage all phases of documentation projects including planning, authoring, reviews, publication, and ongoing updates.
• Champion user-centric documentation practices, incorporating customer perspectives in product conversations.
• Continuously enhance documentation organization, clarity, and comprehensiveness by leveraging analytics, user feedback, and internal insights.
• Collaborate with fellow technical writers and documentation experts to exchange best practices and uplift documentation quality standards.
• Contribute to the upkeep and advancement of documentation tools, build processes, deployment workflows, and platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical writing, including a portfolio with developer-focused documentation such as user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, tutorials, or technical articles.
• Proficient in comprehending, testing, and documenting complex software products and technical environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with technologies including Java, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and associated developer tools.
• Experience crafting documentation for SaaS products, on-premises software, or enterprise technology solutions.
• Ability to tailor content for diverse audiences such as software engineers, developers, business analysts, and technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable with doc-as-code workflows, Git, Markdown, AI-assisted documentation methods, and documentation frameworks like Docusaurus.
• Preparedness and capability to use the actual product ecosystems being documented.
• Experience with maintaining documentation platforms, deployment pipelines, or relevant technical infrastructure is advantageous.
• Software engineering experience or programming proficiency is a plus.
• Capability to contribute to and enhance documentation standards and style guidelines across teams.

• United States: 102300 to 164900
• United Kingdom: 64200 to 105600
• Singapore: 127000 to 190500
• Canada: 108600 to 178600
