About the Training Programme

Successful candidates will undertake a comprehensive five-month programme consisting of both classroom-based and hands-on practical training, including on-the-job training (OJT). This initiative is designed to equip participants with the core competencies required for the Technical Planner role within the Line Maintenance Division of SIA Engineering Company. After completing the training, you will be formally appointed as a Technical Planner.

Key Responsibilities as a Technical Planner

• Coordinate and schedule all incoming work requests from customers, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Ensure all planned activities are completed prior to their assigned deadlines.
• Oversee and track unresolved issues (deferred defects), working to guarantee timely resolution.
• Support the daily task allocation process for the Line Maintenance Division, including communicating plans during daily meetings.
• Prepare, monitor, and maintain a variety of operational reports, guaranteeing timely updates to all responsible stakeholders.
• Create and maintain the daily schedule covering all planned maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with various operational teams within the division to verify task completion and acceptance.
• Adjust to any additional duties that may be delegated.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A diploma in any branch of engineering is required; individuals who are not Singaporean citizens should possess an engineering degree.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated interest in technical positions, particularly within the aviation sector.
