Role Overview

The Team Manager is pivotal in optimizing store performance, surpassing sales goals, and fostering a motivated team. Acting as a dynamic leader on the shop floor, the manager cultivates strong relationships within the team and with clients, embodying the Gucci brand as an ambassador to ensure exceptional client service and representation of brand values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encourage a professional, positive team atmosphere emphasizing trust, integrity, and high performance by leading through example.
  • Maintain close daily contact with the team on the sales floor, providing ongoing support and constructive feedback to client advisors to boost development, motivation, and belonging.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and spontaneous guidance to maintain consistent client experiences.
  • Assist in recruiting, attracting, and onboarding talented high-performing staff members.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and HR to address employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Inspire the team to deliver exceptional client experiences with a hospitality mindset, nurturing strong client relationships.
  • Lead client engagement activities aimed at achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  • Play an active leadership role on the sales floor supporting team efforts.
  • Monitor category performance proactively and develop strategic action plans to meet targets.
  • Provide feedback to the Merchandising team regarding products, inventory, and store-specific requests for business growth.
  • Work with Visual Merchandising to maximize category potential while preserving the brand's store image standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive product knowledge and awareness of market trends and competitors among the team through ongoing training.
