Team Lead - Financial Management

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced financial management professional to lead our team at one of India's premier private banks in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate is meticulous and analytical with the ability to scrutinize financial details such as rate cards and consumption reports, translating complex data into concise information suitable for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team handling financial management in an outsourcing environment.
• Validate invoices and manage billing processes ensuring alignment with contractual agreements.
• Analyze outsourcing pricing models including FTE-based, transaction-based, fixed-fee, and outcome-based pricing.
• Maintain detailed financial analysis and reporting using advanced Excel capabilities and business intelligence tools.
• Communicate financial findings effectively to senior client stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in financial management within outsourcing sectors such as IT, ITeS, or BPO.
• Proven expertise in invoice validation and invoice management tied to contractual terms.
• Experience with commercial models like ARC/RRC and other consumption-based models is preferred.
• Strong team leadership skills with supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Excel formulas, functions, and financial modeling; familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is advantageous.
• A graduate degree in Finance, Commerce, or related fields; MBA, CA, or CMA qualifications are preferred.

Additional Qualifications and Preferences

• Exposure to contract management and accounts payable processes.
• Experience working in a Vendor Management Office (VMO) or governance environment is beneficial.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, India that requires working onsite at the bank's premises.
