About the Team
The EDC and Soundbox business supports merchants in growing and running their operations with simple, data-led tools.
Role Overview
This position is for a driven Team Leader who will oversee EDC device sales within the Oil & Gas segment. The role involves managing field executives, strengthening distribution, and supporting steady growth in merchant onboarding and transaction activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a field sales team with five or more members.
- Push sales and rollout of EDC machines in the oil & gas space, including petrol pumps and distributors.
- Develop and sustain productive relationships with channel partners.
- Deliver targets by coordinating the team effectively and ensuring strong on-ground execution.
- Track daily output, acquisition quality, and incentive performance.
- Coach, support, and inspire team members to improve performance and scale results.
- Review market movements and competitor actions.
- Handle regular reporting and MIS work using Excel and sales tools.
Requirements
- A smartphone, bike, and helmet are required.
- At least 3 years of experience in channel sales and distribution is necessary.
- Prior experience managing field sales teams is expected.
- Good understanding of merchant onboarding, incentive structures, and field sales operations is needed.
- Experience selling POS or EDC devices will be an advantage.
- Comfort with metric-driven sales monitoring and incentive planning is important.
Education
Graduation is mandatory, while post-graduation is preferred.
