Job description
About the Role
This remote, US-based W2 contract opportunity runs for 5 months and sits within the Talent Acquisition function of a global organization focused on water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions. The business serves sectors such as food, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial markets, and places a strong emphasis on innovation and sustainability. The role is centered on proactive sourcing and pipeline development for critical hiring needs.
Job Overview
The Talent Sourcer will work closely with recruiters and broader TA partners to identify, engage, and nurture passive candidates for current and future openings. The focus is on building strong talent pipelines, using market research to guide sourcing plans, and sharing insights that help improve hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with recruiters to shape sourcing plans that match both immediate and upcoming hiring priorities.
- Design and run targeted searches across industries, companies, associations, user communities, schools, and other relevant talent sources.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, talent databases, social channels, referrals, associate networks, and similar tools to find passive candidates.
- Develop, maintain, and actively engage talent pools for assigned roles, functions, or projects.
- Reach out to candidates through email, InMail, phone, and other suitable communication methods.
- Screen candidates for core qualifications, role fit, relevant experience, and overall suitability for business needs.
- Keep candidate, pipeline, and sourcing activity data accurate and up to date in Phenom CRM and other recruiting systems.
- Gather labor market intelligence, spot trends, and turn findings into actionable input for recruiters and hiring stakeholders.
- Build both internal and external professional networks to strengthen long-term sourcing and talent community efforts.
- Support inclusive sourcing by identifying diverse and underrepresented talent groups aligned to hiring goals.
- Coordinate with other Talent Acquisition colleagues to align sourcing approaches, share market knowledge, and improve efficiency across openings.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline health, sourcing progress, and market conditions to recruiting partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate mainly with recruiters and sourcers, with limited direct interaction with leaders or hiring managers.
Qualifications
The position calls for a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in recruiting or sourcing, either in-house or through an agency. Experience with niche or difficult-to-fill technical roles in technology and engineering is required. Familiarity with ATS or CRM tools is needed, and Phenom CRM experience is preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building, and candidate engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple searches independently, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively through ambiguity.
Preferred Experience
Additional strengths include hands-on use of LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Talent Insights, marketplace research, bench-building, market mapping, name generation, cold outreach, and candidate attraction. Knowledge of OFCCP requirements and broader employment law and hiring practices is also preferred, as is experience sourcing for commercial sales, technical, corporate, or similarly hard-to-fill positions. Familiarity with inclusive sourcing strategies and employer brand considerations is an advantage.
Compensation
The contract pays $39 to $45 per hour on a W2 basis.
Benefits
Eligible employees can access a comprehensive benefits package with coverage options designed to meet family needs. Benefit details are available through Dahl Consulting’s W2 FTA benefits summary.
