Role Summary

As the Talent Operations Manager for Enrichment Products, you will take full ownership of talent acquisition and management for Crimson's Enrichment division. This leadership role blends strategic workforce planning with hands-on execution across various products and international markets, ensuring a robust and high-caliber pool of mentors, tutors, and consultants. Handling critical operational processes such as contract management, onboarding, compliance, and cross-department coordination, you will closely collaborate with Product General Managers, Operations Heads, and the People team to sustainably scale our talent capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead global recruitment strategies for Enrichment products by balancing ongoing talent pipeline development with targeted hiring for urgent vacancies.
  • Conduct regular forecasting in partnership with Product and Operations leadership to translate workforce demand into detailed hiring plans segmented by subject, region, language, and experience level.
  • Standardize recruitment materials including job descriptions, role requirements, outreach tools, and evaluation criteria across all products.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles encompassing high-volume tutor sourcing and specialized expert roles.
  • Establish and enforce escalation protocols distinguishing recruiter authority boundaries related to offers, rejections, and exceptions.
  • Directly lead sourcing and recruitment efforts for top-tier Premier/VVIP mentors, focusing on rare disciplines, senior academics, and licensed professionals.
  • Develop proactive candidate benches for historically difficult-to-fill specializations, ensuring prompt follow-ups and coordination with sales and operations for premium prospects.
  • Oversee critical operational functions including contract drafting and revision, signing procedures, account and system access setups, and complete onboarding process management.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene through comprehensive tracking, stage updates, task assignments, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify role specifications, set priorities, run alignment meetings, and manage expectations when resource constraints arise.
  • Work closely with People and Legal departments to refine workflows and ensure compliance with background checks and contractor policies.
  • Continuously enhance recruitment technology, processes, and quality assurance through optimized applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, standardized templates, reporting mechanisms, onboarding frameworks, and quality checks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, or proven capability in high-volume outreach, relationship management, and talent matching.
  • Proven track record hiring across different time zones and sourcing senior-level specialists, including academics and licensed professionals.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and management aptitude, including effective negotiation and rapid decision facilitation.
  • Strong operational discipline with a focus on process ownership, meticulous data management, and thorough reporting.
  • Skilled at targeted sourcing and managing structured candidate outreach campaigns.
  • Highly organized with the ability to remain composed under pressure and manage multiple concurrent recruitment pipelines.

Success Indicators

  • Zero critical shortages in mentor availability across all products, inclusive of premium and premier level talent.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass time-to-fill and time-to-shortlist metrics for standard and expedited hiring needs.
  • Improved onboarding completion rates, minimizing hires not activated for work.
  • Maintain high quality standards reflected in stakeholder satisfaction, student success rates, and reduced mismatches.
  • Recruitment team operates with exceptional hygiene through clear dashboards, up-to-date trackers, and predictable throughput.
  • Recruitment function is recognized as a strategic partner by product teams rather than a reactive service provider.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in education, tutoring, mentoring marketplaces, or expert network industries.
  • Experience establishing scalable recruitment operations.
  • Competency in basic analytics.
