Job description
Role overview
This position is for a Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting a client in the Kansas City, Missouri area. It is a short-term assignment intended to cover a leave of absence, with an initial contract length of 3 to 6 months and possible extension.
Work location and setup
The role is based in Downtown. The first week must be completed onsite for training, after which the work arrangement shifts to remote.
Compensation and start
The pay range is $25.00 to $28.00 per hour. The expected start date is as soon as possible.
What the role involves
You will manage end-to-end recruiting for assigned roles, supporting hiring efforts for the organization. This includes screening and interviewing candidates, working with hiring managers on feedback, and keeping recruiting documentation accurate and up to date. You will also collaborate with the compensation team and hiring leaders on salary recommendations and offer packaging.
Required experience and capabilities
The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or a similar role, with hands-on corporate full-cycle recruiting experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build productive relationships across all levels of the business. You should be comfortable using sourcing methods and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed, and have experience with applicant tracking systems and CRM platforms. Strong interviewing ability is also required.
Additional strengths
Experience with international hiring, especially in Canada, is considered an advantage.
