Job description

Position Overview

This role is for a driven and responsive Talent Acquisition Specialist who will help support recruitment services by placing candidates with client organizations across a range of industries and job functions. It is a hands-on, end-to-end recruitment position that includes business development support, client coordination, candidate sourcing, screening, interview management, and successful placement delivery.

The right candidate will be quick to act, highly organized, commercially aware, and able to balance speed with a strong experience for both candidates and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the complete hiring cycle, starting from requisition intake through to final placement.
  • Work closely with clients to understand the role, hiring priorities, and the profile of the ideal candidate.
  • Find candidates through multiple channels such as professional networks, job portals, referrals, databases, and similar sources.
  • Assess applicants, create shortlists, and evaluate fit based on experience, motivation, role match, and cultural alignment.
  • Arrange interviews, manage follow-ups, support offer discussions, and assist with onboarding coordination.
  • Keep communication active and professional with both clients and candidates during every stage of the process.

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Develop trusted working relationships with hiring managers and other client-side stakeholders.
  • Share regular progress updates on pipeline movement, feedback, and hiring status.
  • Act as a dependable recruitment partner and contribute to a smooth, well-managed hiring experience.
  • React swiftly to client needs and adjust sourcing priorities and methods when urgency changes.

Talent Sourcing and Delivery

  • Build and maintain talent pools for both immediate requirements and future opportunities.
  • Identify strong potential candidates before vacancies are formally launched.
  • Engage suitable talent quickly to help reduce the time taken to fill roles.
  • Accurately record candidate information and activity in the ATS or recruitment tracking system.

Reporting and Coordination

  • Monitor recruitment progress and maintain detailed records of candidate movement and client feedback.
  • Assist with weekly hiring updates and reports when needed.
  • Flag risks, delays, and role-related challenges early, along with practical suggestions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Background in recruitment, talent acquisition, or agency-based hiring.
  • Ability to manage several open roles and competing priorities at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholder management capability.
  • High ownership, urgency, and responsiveness in daily work.
  • Solid sourcing ability and confidence engaging passive candidates.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, target-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of ATS platforms, recruiter tools, and professional sourcing systems.
