Role overview

FYST is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help attract and hire outstanding talent worldwide for both technical and non-technical positions. In this role, you will own the recruitment process end to end and contribute directly to the growth of a fast-moving fintech business operating in the payments space.

What you will do

  • Manage the complete hiring cycle, from understanding the role and planning the sourcing approach to evaluating candidates, handling offers, and closing hires.
  • Work closely with hiring leaders across Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Support, and other teams.
  • Design targeted sourcing plans for difficult-to-fill and senior-level positions in a competitive fintech environment.
  • Use creative, non-traditional approaches to identify, attract, and engage strong candidates.
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers by helping define team needs, hiring priorities, and recruitment direction.
  • Review candidates for experience, technical or functional capability, motivation, adaptability, and overall culture fit.
  • Ensure candidates receive a polished, responsive, and high-quality experience throughout the hiring journey.
  • Support recruitment automation, AI-led hiring initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts through thoughtful market communication and presence.

What we are looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within fintech, payments, crypto, banking, financial services, or another fast-paced, technology-led environment.
  • Practical experience hiring for both technical and business roles across Europe and/or globally.
  • Strong command of full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, assessment, stakeholder coordination, negotiation, and closing.
  • Demonstrated success in filling complex, senior, or hard-to-hire positions.
  • Comfort assessing technical profiles in areas such as Engineering, Product, Data, and IT.
  • Experience recruiting for business functions including Operations, Finance, Compliance, Support, Sales, or Product Support.
  • A proactive headhunting approach, with the ability to identify and win over top talent.
  • Strong judgment in candidate evaluation and confidence in challenging hiring managers when needed.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a dynamic scale-up setting.
  • Interest in AI-powered hiring tools, recruitment automation, and more efficient ways of working.
  • Excellent relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A genuine focus on delivering an excellent candidate experience.
  • Strong English skills and fluent Russian.
